Blood Donors Association
Pourmamilla Mandal where the Mother teressa foundation
is working is prone to the deaths of people because
of Anaemia (Disease caused by Lack of Blood in
the Body). Blood Bank in Kadapa district is situated
at Kadapa Town whichj is 80 Kms far from Pourmamilla
which is very long and rural people residing at
Pourmamilla cannot afford to go to Kadapa town
in Emergency Situation, Considering this Mother
teressa foundation has come forward to take up
this task by Starting the "Blood donors Association"
which was suggested by some well wishers of Mother
teressa foundation. This association has campaigned
about the requirement of blood in the mandal.
People were asked to record their names,phone
numbers along with their blood group nearly 150
people responded for our campaign and recorded
their particulars along with their blood group.
When ever need arised mother teressa foundation
has taken these blood donors personally to the
patient and donated blood. Many people who were
in the need of blood in emergency situation were
rescued by these donors. Rural people of Pourmamilla
are very happy with the services provided by the
Blood donors association which has rescued many
people.
Mosquito nets to
the poor and needy
Mother teressa foundation has distrtibuted mosquito
nets to the rural people ., as the diseases caused
by the mosquitoes are dreadful to the people.In
rural areas of cuddapah district people cannot
afford to purchase even the mosquito nets. We
have explained the conditions to the Rev Fr Bala
Gutala and with the help of his friends Mr stan
and Joann Vopata Family Members who have sponsored
the financial support to purchase these mosquito
nets and we have distributed them to the needy
people in 10 villages.
Animal
Fertility&Health Camp
Though the Govt Veterinary doctors are serving
in the rural areas they are unable give their
service free of cost, In view of this Mother teressa
foundation came forward and are helping the Govt
Veterinary doctors in supplying the required medicines
to the cattle of the rural farmers free of cost
and mother teressa foundation is conducting the
free camps to the rural farmers by which the rural
farmers are able to protect the lives of their
cattle in rural areas.
Helping
the Poor by Providing Education
Mother teressa foundation is supplying the required
books and stationery to the poor and needy people,
Providing the education to the illeterate elders
by their children who are educated. Arranging
the programmes like providing the students by
meritorious awards.Mother teressa foundation is
distributing the School uniforms to the poor SC,ST
students, For maintaining the health of the children
Mother teressa foundation is distributing the
Baby soaps to the children free of cost.
Feeding
The Elderly People
The volunteers of the Mother teressa foundation
have taken the resposibility of Visiting the Old
age homes of Kadapa District and speak to the
Elderly people who do not have any near and dear
by provide them with good food and spend with
them for a day. Very soon Mother teressa would
be starting a new old age home and want to serve
the old and elderly people.
Relief
to Fire victims
Mother teressa foundation is serving poor and
needy in the pourmamilla region. Though the Govt
and Voluntary organisations are indulged in social
activities there are many more people in India
who are in desparate need of help.Especially during
the Summer season Rural areas are prone to Fire
accidents which can ruin the Normal life of the
people in rural areas. Mother teressa foundation
has prepared a kit to confront the situation during
these incidents. These kits contain the essential
commodities like 10. kgs of Rice, 1.kg of pulses,
bathsoaps,detergent soaps, a pot, one bucket,Bedsheets,
towels etc. These kits are distributed to each
one victim family.
Medical Camps
Mother teressa foundation gives most importance
to Medical conditions of the rural people. MTF
is conducting the medical camps at the schools
in the rural reas These medical camps concentrate
on the precautions to be taken to keep the Teeth
and eyes in good condition. MTF is also conducting
awareness camps on AIDS with the help of some
nuns in this area. our foundation Visits every
hospital and consoles the Aids patients and distributes
the fruits, bread and milk to the patients.

and green programmes
The volunteers of Mother teressa foundation have
made a habit of visiting one village every week
and conduct the sanitary programme. Under this
programme all the villagers are asked to assemble
and Mother teressa foundation volunteers explain
the need of the Clean and green programme, Distribution
of Pamphlets, Cleaning of Drains, Spraying of
insecticides and pesticides in the drains , Taking
up the programme of bleaching of the surroundings.
All these programmes have a good response among
the villagers and now they are keeping their surroundings
clean.
Supply of Purified water
Mother teressa foundation has taken up the task
of distributing the purified water to the rural
people by collecting nominal charges. Mother teressa
foundation is supplying this water which is purified
by highly sophisticated system like R.O System,
Ultra voilet lamps. By this purified water people
can avoid drinking contaminated water and they
can get bacteria free water Which can improve
their standard of lives and life expectancy.
